The trans4num project was recently represented at the official kick-off meeting of the Interreg project Green Connections, which took place in Baden, Austria. The new initiative, led by Széchenyi István University and its partners, builds on shared interests in sustainability, biodiversity, and innovative rural development approaches.

Representing trans4num at the event, Qirui Li delivered a keynote presentation titled “Global Perspectives on Nature-Based Solutions in the trans4num Project” 🌱🌍

The presentation introduced the core objectives of trans4num and highlighted the importance of international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and innovative approaches that support sustainable and resilient rural development. It also showcased how collaboration across countries and projects can help accelerate the adoption of nature-based solutions in agriculture and rural areas.

The meeting opened with welcoming remarks from the Lead Partner, Széchenyi István University, represented by Dr. Andras Ver.

Beyond the presentations, the kick-off meeting provided an excellent opportunity for participants to strengthen synergies between European initiatives, exchange experiences, and explore future collaboration opportunities in the fields of sustainability, biodiversity, and agricultural innovation.

We would like to thank the organisers and project partners for the inspiring discussions and for the opportunity to present and disseminate the trans4num project within such a valuable international setting.
