Earlier this month, the trans4num project was presented at Øko-Markdag 2026, Denmark's largest summer event dedicated to organic farming. Project partners from Aarhus University (AU), the Climate Foundation Skive, and ICOEL engaged with farmers, advisors, and other stakeholders to discuss sustainable nutrient management and green biorefining.

The trans4num roll-up banner was displayed outside the event's main session tent, providing an opportunity to introduce the project and exchange knowledge with participants interested in innovative nitrogen management practices.

The project was also represented during the panel discussion "Drinking Water Protection – Grass, Organic Farming, and the Green Tripartite Agreement", chaired by ICOEL's Morten Vestenaa. During the debate, trans4num partners highlighted how grass-based cultivation systems can reduce nitrogen leaching and protect vulnerable groundwater resources, while discussing effective approaches to engaging farmers in Denmark's evolving nitrogen policy landscape.

The session brought together approximately 45 participants, including farmers, advisors, public authorities, researchers, and representatives from companies active in the Danish organic farming sector, providing an excellent opportunity to disseminate trans4num's work and foster dialogue with key stakeholders.
