On 3 December 2025, our partners from the Széchenyi István Egyetem and Pisztráng Kör Egyesület had the opportunity to host a Stakeholder Panel as part of the Széchenyi István University Precision Agriculture Postgraduate Training in Dunasziget, Ökopark, within the framework of the trans4num project.

The session brought together value-chain actors, precision agriculture experts, practitioners (farmers and agricultural enterprise owners), and other key stakeholders to discuss the innovation impact of nature-based solutions and to reflect on possible transformation pathway scenarios.

Soil was at the centre of the discussions - from nutrient replenishment and soil sampling to the practicalities and future potential of precision farming approaches. Participants exchanged perspectives on how NBS can support climate-resilient and sustainable agricultural systems, and what this means for real-world decision-making across the value chain.

The event, co-organised by Széchenyi István University and Pisztráng Kör Egyesület, fostered an open and insightful dialogue on how to translate scientific evidence into practice and how to accelerate the transition towards more sustainable farming models.

A big thank you to all participants for their valuable contributions and engagement!
