Webinar: Introduction to Agent-based modelling

On March 26, our project partner Anke Mökring, from FiBL organised an introductory webinar for the Agent-Based Modelling (ABM) task dedicated to our project partners in trans4num China project.

The webinar allowed some interesting discussion of goals and expectations, on the technical side, for the collaboration with the Chinese partners.

There were 20 participants, out of which 15 students from CAAS/CAU, 3 partners from FiBL and 3 WP leaders. The theme of the webinar was the technical introduction to NetLogo and Agent-Based Modelling.

After 1.5 hour of presentations and discussion, a good basis for the (planned) physical in-depth modelling workshop in Frick in July 2024 was achieved.

The next step will be to organise a physical in-depth modelling exchange and training workshop at FiBL in July 2024 which will be dedicated to agent-based modelling and soil management.
